To all our members,

Our membership renewal and recruitment for 2022/23 that we carried out over the past two months received an outstanding response and we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU 👏👏👏 to everyone who has joined and who so generously and enthusiastically support our club.We currently have 120 full members. Following on from this we also had a fantastic response and attendance at our recent player registration evening and our player member group is well over 30. Next up will be the 22/23 season start up for our mini section in August. Last year we had over 65 girls and boys with their Family Membership category reaching 50. This season we expect to exceed that number and we are already planning the recruitment of a further two coaches to add to the current team for the minis. This will take club membership across all categories to over two hundred ….a club record 🎉. An additional bonus is that our move to cashless transactions has been 100% successful which greatly helps our membership administration.

As we’ve said previously, we will be applying for a Members & Guests alcohol licence for our new Pavillion, and as we recently celebrated our 40th anniversary we thought we’d make the membership cards a bit special. We reproduced our commissioned anniversary painting 🎨 onto standard credit card style membership cards. They will be issued over the coming months in time for the opening of the Pavillion and we’ll let you know how to collect them.

MATCH DAY AT PARC BROYD
Crickhowell Rugby recently commissioned a painting to celebrate its 40th anniversary.Titled "Match Day at Parc Broyd" it captures a game played earlier this year with the late winter sunlight streaming down over Parc Broyd.
The painting, in acrylic paint, is by the well know and internationally exhibited Welsh artist, Dai David, whose work has been sold worldwide and can be found in private collections ranging from the BBC to the
Vatican (http:// www.daidavid.com).
